Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services of Financially, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Service Description
Financially provides professional financial audit services to Canadian businesses, including:
- Financial statement audits and reviews
- Compliance assessments
- Risk analysis and recommendations
- Consultation and advisory services
Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete financial information
- Cooperate fully during the audit process
- Respond promptly to information requests
- Pay fees according to agreed terms
- Maintain confidentiality of audit processes
Our Obligations
Financially commits to:
- Conducting audits with professional competence
- Maintaining strict confidentiality
- Delivering services within agreed timeframes
- Complying with Canadian auditing standards
- Providing accurate and unbiased reports
Fees and Payment
- Fees are as quoted and agreed upon engagement
- Payment terms are net 30 days unless otherwise specified
- Additional work outside scope may incur extra charges
- Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis
- Late payment may result in service suspension
Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding:
- All client financial information
- Business operations and strategies
- Audit findings and recommendations
- Any proprietary information disclosed
This obligation continues indefinitely beyond service completion.
Intellectual Property
All audit reports, methodologies, and deliverables remain the intellectual property of Financially, while client data and information remain the property of the client.
Limitation of Liability
Financially's liability is limited to the fees paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services.
Professional Standards
Our services are provided in accordance with:
- Canadian Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- CPA Canada professional standards
- Applicable provincial regulations
- International auditing guidelines where applicable
Termination
Either party may terminate services with written notice. Upon termination:
- All outstanding fees become due
- Work completed to date will be delivered
- Confidentiality obligations continue
- Client materials will be returned or destroyed
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration or the courts of Nova Scotia.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
